In 2023, PCI SSC published a minor amendment to the PTS POI Modular Security Requirements v6.2
The POI Modular Security Requirements extend security controls to protect against physical tampering and malware that could compromise card data during payment transactions.
Version 6.2 of the Standard incorporates feedback and comments from stakeholders received through a formal Request for Comments (RFC) and changes to support mobile payments on COTS.
The changes from version 6.1 to 6.2 are available in the document library on the PCI SSC website.
