Tactical Medicine at IT Specialist: Professional Training for Employees

Due to the complex and sometimes extreme circumstances in Ukraine, IT Specialist pays extraordinary attention to the safety and protection of their employees, among which we can note: a bomb shelter with conditions suitable for full-fledged work, a production generator, armored film on all office windows, and water reserves for all employees. We have now come to the point where we need to conduct additional training, including tactical medicine training, which will help our employees not only help themselves or someone close to them if they need to but also feel more resilient and clear in extreme conditions.
What is tactical medicine in the corporate sector?Tactical medicine is a set of knowledge and skills that allow you to provide emergency first aid. It enables employees to act responsibly and efficiently in unforeseen circumstances, increasing the chances of saving themselves and others in accidents or emergencies.
What did our employees gain from the training?● Mastered first aid skills in case of injuries, burns, and other emergencies..● hey worked on real cases with combat medics.● Learned to communicate effectively and not to panic in extreme situations.● Improved teamwork: this is a critical aspect of the training. The skills of working together in a group can save lives in emergencies.
What's next?We hope that our employees will never need these skills. Still, if they do, we are convinced that our employees who have completed this training can now help themselves and their neighbors in any situation that requires appropriate knowledge and skills. It was only the first training on this topic, and by the end of this year, we plan to hold several more training sessions on tactical medicine and more in-depth training on tactical training.
This training was conducted thanks to the initiative and active participation of the Bucha Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These dedicated defenders are not only protecting our country on the battlefront but also paying great attention to the education of the civilian population. They provide an opportunity for us in the cities to help each other, protect ourselves and our neighbors, and have basic skills in case of mobilization.
After the training, all the participants were impressed by the high qualifications and dedication of the doctors who spoke. The lecturers are true masters of their craft, and their openness, sincerity, and desire to teach inspired confidence and better learning among the participants. Each participant was delighted with the training and expressed a desire to further deepen their knowledge in medicine and tactical training in general.
